Local Golf Courses: As Fountain Hills first and only private country club, FireRock was introduced to the community in February of 2001. This 18-hole championship golf course features a stunning clubhouse with dining facilities and other elite pleasures. Designed by award-winning architect Gary Panks, the course offers challenging play for all skill levels. The course offers postcard views of Red Mountain, some of which are more stunning than anywhere else in Fountain Hills. Fairways wind through narrow canyons while new luxurious homes command the surrounding ridgetops. Abundant native vegetation lines the emerald green fairways on each hole giving players a truly memorable and rewarding experience. FireRock Country Club is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System, sponsored by Audubon International. The system helps golf courses enhance wildlife habitat and protect natural resources for the benefit of people, wildlife and the game of golf.
