The Community of Rio Verde

Just north of Fountain Hills lies the community of Rio Verde. This active adult community is home to some 1800 residents. Rio Verde features a private country club with two 18-hole golf courses. Fairways are lined with luxurious custom homes and charming villas.

The community sits at the western edge of the lower Verde River. On the southern border lies the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and the McDowell Mountain Regional Park.

On the northern border of Rio Verde is a community currently in development called Tonto Verde. Both communities were developed by Rio Verde Development.

Rio Verde is located minutes north of Fountain Hills. From Fountain Hills drive north on McDowell Mountain Road, an extension of Fountain Hills Boulevard, to Forest Road. At Forest Road turn left.
