The Fountain Hills Community Theater is another one of Fountain Hills’ unique gems and offers year-round cultural opportunities. The local theater group has been presenting quality productions here for 20 years.
The mainstage shows offer a variety of both musicals and plays throughout the season. The theater also offers summer performing art camps for local youth, as well as year-round youth workshops in voice, dance, acting, auditioning and more. The group also hosts Children's Theater productions throughout the year.
Operated by a board-of-directors that is annually elected, the theater plays a prominent role in the community. The nonprofit Theater is funded through box office tickets, season ticket holders, corporate and municipal donors and an organization called the Friends of the Community Theater.
The award-winning Fountain Hills Community Theater always encourages the local community to audition for productions. Announcements for auditions are generally announced one to two months in advance of the scheduled presentation.
