Remembering 9/11
911 Memorial Ceremony
Presented by Town of Fountain Hills
September 11, 2002, 6:30
p.m.
The ceremony marked the one-year anniversary of
the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Mayor Jon Beydler oversaw the
ceremony. Guest speakers included local VFW and American Legion post
members, Pastor Joel Bjerkestrand, Marshal Todd Tate, Chief LaGreca,
Councilman Kavanaugh, Dr. Russo, and Reverend Don Lawrence. Performances
were given by Fountain Hills residents Eric Landau and Sid Apps.
For those of you who were unable to attend this event, "Live"
( to live) refers to Mayor Beydler's Keynote Address.
