Veterans Memorial Groundbreaking
Ceremony.
September 11, 2002, 8:00
a.m.
Hosted by local VFW Representatives and the American Legion,
the ceremony was the official dedication of the future Veterans Memorial
featuring a 3,000 square foot, 125 foot long monument, 155mm Howitzer
short tube cannon and five posts representing the five branches of the
military, three flag poles and a wall for memorial plaques.

this historical event.
