Luminarias, A Tradition in the Hills:
Page 2 of 2 Street lights in Fountain Hills are virtually nonexistent. With very little light pollution, the luminarias' pierce the darkness like a million little campfires. Add to the luminarias the holiday lights along the Avenue of the Fountains, the after dark fountain display, and residential light displays and Fountain Hills is truly a treat for the eyes. Without the presence of snow, new desert dwellers may be left feeling a bit out of the holiday spirit, but after dark the holiday atmosphere comes alive. Best of all, there isn't a flake of snow to shovel, not a chip of ice to scrape, and not a sprinkle of salt to wash off your car.
The only thing you really have to worry about is snipping the Christmas lights while you're trimming the hedges. Have a safe and happy holiday and don't forget to wear your sunscreen! [End of Article]
