Bicycling

Become one with the road. Fountain Hills residents see cyclists on a regular basis chugging up the mountain pass on Shea Boulevard, turning left onto Palisades Boulevard only to face several more hill climbs. Why do they do such a thing? First, the downhills. Second, there is nothing like getting in groove with your bicycle as you cruise down the open highway with the early morning sun peaking over Four Peaks. At the same time, there is nothing like the adrenaline rush you get from flying down a rocky slope at full speed on your mountain bike as you traverse the professional mountain bike course at McDowell Mountain Park.
