A $6,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals responsible for igniting the Rodeo fire on June 18. Of the reward funds, $5,000 is being offered by the White Mountain Apache Tribe and the remaining sum will come from the Silent Witness program.

PROJECT LINUS
The Phoenix/East Valley Chapter is seeking volunteers to assist with making blankets that will be sent to the American Red Cross to be donated to the victims of the Rodeo-Chediski fire. If you sew, knit or crochet; have donations of fabric or yarn; or can help pick up and deliver blankets please call to volunteer your services.

Local Donation Centers
Donations are being accepted locally (in Fountain Hills) by:

BASHAS' - Donations will be made to the Salvation Army. Cash or items (water, gatorade, sunscreen, eye drops) are just a few examples. If you donate cash, let the cashier know and you will receive a receipt. Bashas' will match dollar for dollar any cash or item donated. They have sent semi's loaded with goods already.

SAFEWAY - They are collecting money for the relief funds to the Salvation Army. You need to tell the cashier and your donation will be put into a separate code which will produce a receipt for you. Safeway has also sent semi's to the area with water and supplies.

FRY'S - They are collecting money for the relief funds to the American Red Cross.You need to let the cashier know and they will enter your donation with a special code which will produce a receipt for you. Fry's has also sent semi's into the area with supplies.
