This lake is the closest to State Route 260 of
any lake on the Rim making it the most accessible. The road is paved
to this lake. There is no marina or camping here, but there are restrooms
and a boat launch for boats with small motors.

To Get There:
From Fountain Hills take Shea Boulevard eastbound to the Beeline Highway
(State Route 87). Turn left and follow 87 to Payson. In Payson turn
right onto State Route 260. Follow 260 to the top of the Rim. Just as
the highway crests the ascent FR 300, the Old Rim Road is on the left.
About a mile beyond FR 300 on 260 is another left turn at FR 149. Turn
left onto FR 149 and follow this road to the lake.
