Waterways

Considering Fountain Hills exists within the Sonoran Desert there are a remarkable number of waterways available. In fact, there are two desert rivers and six desert lakes within a short distance. If you don't mind a bit longer drive, a water sports enthusiast has access to several cool lakes and streams along the Mogollon Rim to choose from. Activities include: water skiing, inner tubing, fishing, sailing, jet skiing, steamboat tours, lakeside camping, creekside hikes, and waterfront picnics. The furthest drive times listed are no more than 1 to 1.5 hours away.

We are continually adding new information and images to this page so be sure to check back frequently.
