For a small town, Fountain Hills has a wide selection of retail and service businesses. New stores are opening on a regular basis. A new facility is underway near the corner of Shea Blvd. and Saguaro Blvd. which will be anchored by national retailer Target. Downtown Fountain Hills is continually being developed as well. The latest project nearing completion in downtown (on Plat 208) is the new Community Center and Library which will likely attract new commercial construction in that area.
